November 29 , 2013 the Wife and I departed Montero Palms south canyon. We didn't attempt to go to the peak. We climbed out of the rocky boulder canyon. Hiked to the base of the mountain. Had lunch then exited out via Goat Canyon.

Base Of Jacumba Mountain, Will do this again in January 2014. Over all a good hike.
